Meeting Information

The Board of Trustees holds regular Board meetings on the first and/or third Thursday of each month, 6:30 p.m.(unless otherwise noted), at the Dry Creek District Education Center Community Room, 8849 Cook Riolo Rd., Roseville, CA.

For Board meeting information, call 916-770-8850, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Public Comments are welcome at board meetings. Each agenda allows time for visitor comments at the beginning of the meeting, as well as during consideration of specific agenda items. To give everyone a chance to be heard, comments are limited to three minutes per person.

Public comments may be made by any person attending the Board meeting in person. Individual speakers shall be allowed three (3) minutes to address the Board on each agenda or non-agenda item. Please note that speaking time cannot be delegated to another person. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes. With Board consent, the President may increase or decrease the time allowed for public presentation, depending on the topic and the number of persons wishing to address the Board.

All public comment cards must be submitted to the designated staff member prior to the calling of the agenda item in which you wish to address the Board. The Board President, or designee, will call you at the appropriate time to hear your comment.

Board Role

Board members are an important link between our community and the school district. They work with the Superintendent to provide leadership, service, and support to the district and all students. The Board establishes policies, reviews and approves the district budget, and approves selected curriculum for educational programs.

Elected Officials

Members of the Board of Trustees are public officials elected at large by registered voters who reside within boundaries of the district. They serve four year terms without limit.

Board Remuneration

The Board of Trustees are eligible to receive monthly compensation of $180 and are eligible for district paid health and benefits of $9,036 annually. (Board Policy 9250)
